Gallbladder surgery and Gall stones and sand
Gallstones are a collection of crystals, mostly gravel-like ovapnjele masses of different grain sizes from very small 1-2 mm or smaller, which resemble sand, and large stones of a hen's egg. However, there is often one patient a mixture of sand, stones and smaller or larger one large scale.
They are present in 20-30% of the population. One in three women and one in five men over the age of 75 years have gallstones. They occur more often in women and is known as the ratio of the presence of gallstones in women compared to men 4:1. Gallbladder are solid deposits that can cause stones in the gallbladder or bile ducts. They are formed when some of the ingredients of bile juice sediment as a hardened mass in the gallbladder.
